The Life Design Project | Resources for Freedom

credit

I’ve stumbled on some great people and phenomenal services over the first 3 stages of this project. Although the best is yet to come, (income streams finally!) I can’t stress enough how valuable the for-thought of defining your dreams and situation (stage 1), eliminating and optimizing (stage 2), automating and outsourcing (stage 3) are before you actually try to set up a platform for residual income. I’m in no way interested in flimsy, low quality, time wasting attempts to build passive income and I want to make sure you aren’t either. So before embarking on making money while I sleep I’ve put together a resource listing for reference and teaching. I hope they serve you as well as they have me…

I’ll be concise as I list these resources and their uses, I don’t like to just push internet junk around. I’d like to stress that methodology (the definition stage ) has been more useful and more challenging than anything else, re-working how my brain thinks THEN applying these tools have made all the difference in elevating how I operate in life and business.

You can locate a growing copy of this list in the page navigation at the top of the site going forward. Check back if you find this of value, they’ll be much more to share as creating stream of income enters the picture. I’m almost scared of how much more.

All links under each title are in chronological order preserving a slice of how I got to where I am. Use this to position yourself or pick up some materials for where you are.

All the links here are using Apture which allows you to click them without leaving the page and read a blurb on them, check it out.

  • Misc
    • Sending e-mails to every blog author asking them if they are for real.
    • Actually commenting on peoples blogs!
    • Buying ebooks and promoting them when their useful, asking for my money back when they aren’t.
    • The distinction of being on the court, not in the stands.

Have you found any resources/methods you HAVE to share?

  • Hey Rob,

Awesome list! (And I swear, I'm not just saying that because I'm included!) I love seeing what is working for someone, and what resources they find most useful. I already enjoy most of the blogs on this list... but have to definitley check out some of the books and other tools that I'm not familiar with.

Love your suggestion of emailing bloggers that you admire... I did this right when I started blogging (and should do it more now). It makes the down to earth ones reveal themselves because they respond to you, and helps build connections in a awesome community.
    :)

  • Massively valuable bank of resources here Rob. You're the real deal and things are about to blow up for you. It's not a matter of 'if', it's simply a matter of 'when'.
  • You've put together a great resource here — a solid introduction for anyone interested in reading about the fundamentals of lifestyle design.
  • Spectacular resource post Rob! And thank you so much, humbled to be shortlisted with such cool folks.
  • I think this is a great resource already - it's so hard to filter through all the junk online to find what's really good. I like this list
