It’s been a while, progress is hard to slow down and right now life is whipping around at high speeds both personally and for my business adventures.

I’ll be married in a month, but can’t help thinking about all the wisdom I continue to pick as I dip into my ebooks, real books, RSS feeds and the like. I want to share with you how I benefit from others wisdom consistently.

This will be simple and sweet.

Capture it.

Underline, highlight, circle, mark up what you read to better yourself. I take pictures, mark them up, and collect them into my photo application iPhoto. At some point I bounce them around the web so I have a chance to look at them again. Reading, or taking in media is more than the simple act of your eyes looking at the material.

Here’s four golden pieces I’ve captured lately to boost your business mind.

PS. A personal note as I go into wedding and adventure honeymoon mode. The past year and a half of networking, reaching out, brainstorming out-loud with a blog, and doing business are clearly making a huge difference. Make consistent effort and you will gain authoritative muscle, build programs, develop new methods of income, become an expert, build relationships to grow your self-worth/net-worth and much much more. Sometimes the match catches fast and burns bright, sometimes it slowly ebbs and flows. Only you can see your vantage point, so telling you how I can net X$ a month by focusing on referrals, or promoting a new product, building automated form responses or spending less is helpful and maybe entertaining, but it’s not going to make as much a difference as you continuing to wrestle with your success.

Keep on keeping on.

world class operate from their reality

Here’s a powerful mental shift. Stop seeing the reality that is around you, and start seeing the reality that you want around you. Operate like you’re the boss, and your behaviors and surrounding will start to match if done in earnest.

partnerships for traffic

I’d be no where if I wasn’t open to partnerships, or active in partnering for others, even if just for a small project, or mutual interest in sharing contact information. You don’t have to bring in a business partner with some claim to your operation to benefit from teaming up with people. Corbett Barr, Mars Dorian, Laurie Foley, Greg Rollett, Colin Wright, Derek Halpern. I call all these people my partners in one way or another, and you better believe they’ve brought thousands of dollars into my pocket while I’ve pushed eye balls in their directions in hopes of doing the same for them and cause I just like them.

business before blogger

Here’s a fact that I see a lot struggling with. I think it’s because WordPress is the platform of choice for most online entrepreneurs I know, and it’s marketed as a blog platform, therefore everyone thinks that the blog and it’s toys are paramount. It’s not, be a business owner first.

get away to get ahead

If you’re struggling right now to make some gains, schedule up some time to get away, break free, stop thinking about your business or your online efforts to streamline or automate some sort of revenue. If you really let your mind break from it, and come back with clarity, you’ll move faster in the right direction.
