Commenting on those that you compare yourself to…
they use information to inspire action, not take on the action themselves. they master that. working this through in my mind live, right now as i type helps me get behind creating more information only driven courses, workbooks, recordings, pdfs, downloadable things, etc..and the marketing required, the hype creation, the create it, then kill it and move on process…it’s tough coming to grips how much of a marketer you need to be in online business and how quickly you need to cycle through an idea for providing value in your niche, creating awesome content about it, content that takes time, and heart, and feedback, and struggle, the promoting, delivering it, then completely moving on to the next idea, mentally “quitting” the old, and make room for the new which could be a re-hash of some other idea, or totally topical on what’s popular right now, or a “whatever” that can turn it into some core evergreen service that lives forever but for all intensive purposes is relegated to the bank, to an unknown page, or folder on a hard drive.specifically for thinktraffic, as that’s staring at me on the adjacent monitor, i bet this is why there’s no services page, it’s not needed, at least publicly, it’s not a necessity to launch successful stuff, provide value, make money, and move on. interesting as i turn the scope on myself, where i have this process for a sales page for everything i offer, or have offered, i attempt to cram it all on my services page [which i struggle to organize regularly], and then, when i think about it where i actually have success, and grown to thousands of income per month this year is promoting one direct product/service on my homepage and in the various media outlets, getting excited about it and talking about it…similar to…duh…cycling out announcements of some event, putting on “the show” and then moving on. alright enough, i’m happy, revelation succeeded. stop holding on so tightly to the idea of unchanging perfect products and services with next to no promotion. information changes, go with it, use it, announce it, create it, renew it, make money from it, learn from the process, and keep going. service and product constants absolutely can exist and have their place, but an online business is the business of information marketing, embrace it you friggin idiot.
