does it seem like accomplishing something big requires seclusion, a feeling of…”I need to go into my cave where no one can touch me”, a “bubble” where “work” feels like creation…avoiding others, avoiding distraction…
great minds, big players often disappear for lengths of time…and then resurface with something to present or offer the world and their target….a book, a product, an event…musicians tour or release a cd…and then they GO AWAY.
there’s always a training montage and then a come back. example: rocky 4, go to russia, where’s your russia?
is it safe to say if you want to take on something big you need to literally “go recluse” … it makes sense and lines up with what those who have accomplished much in their life…turn off the wifi, get off the internet for anything but progressing to your goals, hide away and build your next big “thing”. this doesn’t mean get selfish, you don’t go off the grid for you per-say.
what it feels like?
- like accomplishment is only a matter of time
- like research, writing, testing, communication can be called something closer to “creating” than “work”
- like optimism is surrounding you
- like this feeling should be contagious and others should have it
- sharpness, keeness, must do this-ness
the hardest part – getting into this “mode”…how did it come along?
as an entrepreneur, it’s going to take strength of mind and resolve in your goals to get something big done as you’re likely looking ahead to the new year, or like me looking to a revamp into online business.
be a ruthless filter with your time…bio tune, make plans, it takes a trigger in the mind that essentially decides there’s no other way, this is important. i need to take this next step. it’s not easy to find this “zone”, but when you do, it’s like a virus that takes over. (ala Inception) other responsibilities are maintained or even managed better to allocate more energy and time to this “project”…it’s a good place to be.
