i cracked open the now free IOS apps for making music and movies, and they are inspirational.
i found myself playing piano in garageband and not just tapping a key to see what it was like, but trying to create some melody and thinking about how i’d like to learn piano.
imovie was more familiar to me as i use it on the mac often, the mobile capabilities are nice for short videos you just want to chop up a bit and post to youtube or start editing to finish later, i’d like to see if yosemite’s hand off will work with that, probably not due to it being video.
either way, with the iphone6’s screen and improved power, creating is really fun on it.

reading books on the iPhone6 is a marked improvement over the 5. it’s ever so slight but i can read much longer and easier in a standing or sitting position on the 6
