I am a purveyer of all sorts of tech products, and over the last month there have been two products I use regularly asked about again and again by my friends and family, down to exact names and links so they can purchase them immediately for themselves or other friends and family.
You know they are decent products when this starts happening.
They are general in terms of functionality but very useful, maybe you’ll find the products and my experiences with them handy for yourself.
Magnetic CD Player / AC Vent Phone Mount
This product is simple but amazing, it requires an existing phone case, but of pretty much any variety. It works by mounting an adjustable arm to your car through your aging CD player entry/exit slit. They also have variations for air conditioning vents. The end of the arm is a strong magnetic head. The mount comes with a thin but strong metal plate you slip in between your phone case and phone.
Now, when you place your phone near the mount, it magnetically snaps in place and is easily adjusted, removed, etc. It works like a charm and makes navigation and music apps much easier to use while driving.
I recommend Waze for navigation.

Finger Strap Case Add-on
This next product is something that again, adds onto an existing phone case [or bare phone] but makes it much better by adding a simple thin strap on the back.
I can’t tell you how useful this is for multitasking, and for running. It’s hard to give examples that apply to everyone, but things like walking into work in the morning holding your coffee, or out of the super market, or paying for something, or juggling babies, and having the ability to flip your phone over and have semi-full use of your hands is incredible.
I’m also a runner and triathlete and have found using this strap is great for checking stats on the run, or snapping a picture, much more useful then the arm variation.
